P-Line Floroclear Fishing Line - 260-300 Yards
If you only buy one line, buy this
Use this line for all your bass fishing needs. It is the best for all aplications, excpet topwater. It will sink a little, so go with mono for that. This line isnt expensive. It isnt too cheap though either. I use it on spinning gear and baitcast. It does it all and will do it all for you.

Floroclear is a no brainer
I switched to P-Line Floroclear from Original Stren line a few years ago and have not looked back. This line has all the characteristics of mono with the advantage of Flourocarbon (invisibility and lower stretch meaning more strikes that you know about).
I fish in club tournaments and this line has heped me bring more fish to the scales than in the past. This line is versatile and I use it on both my spinning and baitcaster setups. Give it a try. The 600 yard, 8 pound test spool will fill 5 spinning reels (120 yards on each which is plenty).
Good luck and tight lines.

Tough and Managable
I use P-line Fluorocarbon on some reels and Floroclear on others and so on. This year my 14 year old son caught a 81/2 lb and a 9lb LM Bass on back to back cast using 8lb Floroclear. It blew my mind. This week I chose to retie his knot for him after catching 8 smallmouths, 18 inches and bigger. I could not believe that 8lb line could hold up to the surges of those smallies while rubbing on an aluminum canoe. And you know kids, they think they have to reel the fish all the way up through the eyes of the rod and to the reel. Great product p-line. And great price too.
