P-Line Floroclear Fishing Line - 260-300 Yards
Good and Bad..
I really liked the feel that this line gave me. I did have some issues of castability in cold weather, where it seemed to hold a lot of memory. Initially, I loved this lines clarity and strength, but I found it to require respooling more often than other lines. I have lost several fish on the hookset as the line aged. I could usually depend on the line for about two weekend tournaments in a row, then had to respool for my own confidence. A palomar knot probably isn't the best knot for this line. Try an improved cinch knot.

I bought this line per reviews. I purchased 2lb test for trout fishing. It cast well, but tensile strength and knot strength are poor. On several occastions the line broke at the bail of my spinning reel. I'm still searching for 2lb test.

For subtle presentations, from trout, to crappie, to bass, this line has no equal. I have more than doubled my strike ratio on ultra-lite trout rigs, using Floroclear. This line is virtually invisible underwater. I've never had a break off with it. It outperforms My former favorites, Maxima and Stren superknot, for knot strength, tensile strength, abrasion resistance, casting and longevity. It works great for worming and drop shotting too. Consider using this line if you don't like using pure florocarbon. This may be the closest thing to an all purpose line available.

Best Line I've Ever Used
I love fishing jigs and Texas-rigged plastics. This combines the great sensitivity and transparency of fluorocarbon with the durability of a copolymer. The best of both worlds it will perform with minimal coiling, great hooksets, and resilience against brush. Great buy!
