P-Line CXX X-tra Strong Monofilament - 260-300 Yards
Being an avid ultralight fisherman, I was looking to find a strong 2lb test mono with low memory, low stretch and small diameter. After searching the web, reading reviews and speaking to BPS sales reps, I settled on P-Line® CXX X-tra Strong Monofilament. Well let me tell ya, while fishing yesterday in a favorite small pond, I had the chance to put this line to the test and it PASSED! While taking a small break from fishing for Largemouth Bass, I decided to play with some scrappy Bluegills. I guess the Bass didn't care because after about 15 minutes of catching some Gill's on Foodsource maggot type baits, a 19" - 4lb Largemouth hit the bait, made a jump, put her head down and swam hard into some grass. The ONLY thing running through my mind was, "...line PLEASE dont break!!" After a nice drag screaming tug of war, I landed her! THANKS FOR SUCH A GREAT PRODUCT!

Tip of the Top
For the last 4 years i have been on a mission to find the best line on the market. Not just the best bang for the buck, but the best product available. Between myself, my brother, and my father we have tried them ALL. Mono, Fluro, Braided all types all sizes and all colors. CXX is by far the best product out there. We fish all over IL, WI, and IN for everything from Bass to Pike to Steelhead and King Salmon. There isnt a line out there that compares to this line. We use the 10lb on all or our spincast reels. We even use the 10lb for steelhead/kings and this stuff holds up with no problem!

I used Maxima ultragreen for 25+ years until I tried cxx p-line. It's a little stiff and over tests, but I've yet to lose a fish or have a knot break. I use 4 & 6# for spinning and 10,15 & 17# on baitcast. With 15#, I've pulled tree limbs and stumps off the bottom, straightened out 4/0 worm hooks and pulled my boat around the lake with out breaking. I once tail hooked a 20+ # carp and landed it with 6# cxx and caught several 6-8# browns in the white river, below bull shoals dam with the water flowing fast on 4 # line. I also use the 15# for specks and reds in the GOM.

CXX X-TRA STRONG IS NO LIE.
I USE THE 15LB ON ONE OF MY BAITCAST REELZ AND I FEEL VERY COMFORTABLE WHIPPING MY 1oz JIG WITH ALL MY MIGHT, FEELING EXTREMELY CONFIDENT EVERYTIME KNOWING MY LINE WONT SNAP. IN MY OPINION, THE ONLY THING I NOTICE IS THAT THE DIAMETER SEEMS A LITTLE THICKER COMPARED TO OTHER TYPE OF MONO LINES. NEXT TIME I WILL BUY 12LB, TOO..
