P-Line CX Premium Fishing Line - 300 Yards
Watch out for this one
I purchased (4) spools of the clear 4# test. I tried to put it on a under spin reel, the line kept twisting. I thought the reel may be the problem. I then tried to put it on a UL spinning reels, some twisting, not as bad, BUT when I cut the line from the line spool, the line on the reel came off in coils. I tried putting it on with the line coming off the top of the spool, coming off the bottom of the spool, put spool on ground and loade 2 reels, one with label up, one with label down, same issue. I have been putting line on spinning reels for 45 years and have never had this problem to this extent. I finally took the pole/reel outside, pulled off about 75 yards of line and streched it, put back on reel and sprayed line with Reel Magic. tested tonight, no problem. I'll find out how it fishes this weekend.

I have been working my way through all types and brands of line for bluegill, bass and catfish. Pline CX worked very well for everything I threw at it.
PROS: *The bass and bream grabbed the lures more often with this line than others (mono, floro or braid), catfish was about the same since they are not overly picky eaters. *Caught several largemouth up to 9 pounds on 6 pound test. *The knots when tied properly held on better than mono or braid. *Minimal coil when used on spincast or spinning reels, but more memory seemed to be a problem for smaller diameter spool baitcasting reels. *Very good line for the money, performs better than many more expensive flouro, copoly and mono lines, and has more capability overall than braid.
CONS: *It does have some memory but it is rare to find any line that does not, this just seemed to hold onto it for less time than many others. Usually one or two decent sized fish straightened it out. *Poorly tied knots give the impression that the line broke or the hook/lure just falls off or is pulled off. *Channel and bullhead Catfish knicked this line pretty good so needed to clip off a foot or two and retie the hook after each catch, better to use braid for "toothy" fish.

p line shines
i bought a spool of 6# test in the clear fluorescent for finesse fishing. i was really impressed with this line. it's as smooth as silk, has incredibly low memory and casts like a dream. every little nibble was noticed and no loops or other tangles were encountered after hours of casting. and the price is very reasonable. i've been searching for an improvement in fishing line and p-line may have won out. an excellent line without the premium price. i'll be trying some heavier # test p-line for larger presentations. i'm sure the results will be just as impressive.

I recently bought this line on a recomendation from a bait & tackle sales person because I was looking for a good floro.line. Needles to say I fish a clearwater lake in Fla., and lost a couple of nice fish because the line broke at the knot, I'm really disappointed in the way the line performed over all!!! I was using 6# test with the drag set loose as possible and still the line broke off at the hook and this was RIGHT OUT THE BOX!!!!
