P-line's CX Premium Fluorocarbon Coated Line is one of the most innovative lines available, combining copolymer and fluorocarbon technologies. CX Premium eliminates spinning reel line problems with its low memory and improved limpness. The combination of low memory and limpness also improves casting distance with a baitcast reel. The fluorocarbon-silicone coating virtually eliminates water absorption so cold water and weather have little effect on line performance. With as much as 30% less stretch than average lines, it has increased sensitivity to detect and react to even the most subtle strikes. 300 yards.

Been using P-line for a few years now and I won't use anything else now. Loaded up my reel for a state bass tournament with 12lb. and landed about a 40lb. catfish on it during the tournament. Wrong species but it was fun, that's why I use P-line.

I have be useing this line this year with no problems untill the last spools I bought. Spooled up with new line and everytime I set the knot it broke. I pulled off 20 or 30 feet of line a finally got the knot to hold. later in the night I broke twice with good fish on. I felt it cost me 1st place in a tournament. I think or hope I got a bad lot or a bad spool of line . I don't know how or if you can prove to P-line it's bad , or get your money back. I thnk I will look around for a better line.

This line is ok at first. However, it frays and nicks easily. Another thing I really disliked with this line is the fact that after it is spooled on for just a few days it holds the twist from being spooled very badly, bad enough so that it makes it a pain to tie on lures. Spend a little more money and get some XPS fluorocarbon.
