P-line's CX Premium Fluorocarbon Coated Line is one of the most innovative lines available, combining copolymer and fluorocarbon technologies. CX Premium eliminates spinning reel line problems with its low memory and improved limpness. The combination of low memory and limpness also improves casting distance with a baitcast reel. The fluorocarbon-silicone coating virtually eliminates water absorption so cold water and weather have little effect on line performance. With as much as 30% less stretch than average lines, it has increased sensitivity to detect and react to even the most subtle strikes. 300 yards.

This line is awesome! I have the four pound test and it is really thin, strong, and casts like a dream. First time I used it my Mom, brother and I were fishing of a bridge. I had just caught a small sunfish, and my Mom wanted to catch one too. So, I let her take my rod and walked away. Suddenly, I looked back to see my mom swinging a big chub up over the bridge rail! The line took the stress easily. I was amazed. I would buy this again, in a heart beat!

I found p-Line CX premium line to have very good abrasion resistance easy to tie, knots strength very good almost no coil memory better the mono-filament lines I would buy it again and Have.

Started using this line couple years ago. Just love it, with the minimal stretch hook set is pretty easy. Use 6LB. for ultralight, and 12 & 15LB when going for the big stuff, with a steel leader of coarse. Anything huge I switch to Bass Pro Extreme Braid.

I've been a Stren user for about the last 15 years but I decided to try this line. I used it on spinning gear with 10 lb test. I don't really see much of an advantage over regular mono. In fact with this line, knots have been harder to make because of its stiffness, and forget about abrasion resistance. I had to cut my line proactively several times before it snapped on its own. Memory is about the same. I can actually see the line MORE under water than clear stren or other clear colored monos. I think this line may be best suited for 12 lbs test and better and on a baitcaster setup.
