REBATE P-Line CX Premium Fishing Line - 1000 Yards
P-line’s CX Premium Fluorocarbon Coated Line is one of the most innovative lines available, combining copolymer and fluorocarbon technologies. CX Premium eliminates spinning reel line problems with its low memory and improved limpness. The combination of low memory and limpness also improves casting distance with a baitcast reel. The fluorocarbon-silicone coating virtually eliminates water absorption so cold water and weather have little effect on line performance. With as much as 30% less stretch than average lines, it has increased sensitivity to detect and react to even the most subtle strikes. 1000 yards.

I usually use trilene XL 20lb. I had a tournament to fish
in and needed heavier line. Its hard to find line over
20lb. of any quality in my area. I ordered this line for
the low memory and scratch resistance.........

This line has been great. I've tried just about every brand and I'll be sticking with P-Line CX for a while. It is very thin for the test as opposed to the CXX which is very thick and stiff. I have 8lb in both and the CX barely holds 8lbs but the CXX will hold 12lbs but it feels and acts like 12lb test as well. Overall this is a very good line, low memory, tough and strong.

I want good line for night fishing and I use Spincast reels. So I need good line to glow under black light, but is also strong.Answers
A:Â
Yes the Florsent clear color P-line works very well with a black light. Be sure to read the color on the label.A:Â
CX Clear Florescent is highly visible under black light even with its small diameter. 10lb shows up great and I do some jigging and worming at night with the 20lb and it shows up like a rope!Strength is excellent!

I NEVER EXPERIENCED THE FLORO GLOW BUT I BELIEVE I MIGHT GLOW A LITTLE BIT WHEN SETTING THE HOOK USEING CX PREMIEMTop 50 Contributor

Yes it glows,and is very strong.Happy fishing.A:Â
fluorocarbon doesn't glow under a black light you are thinking mono and with mono i would get stren 12lb test clear/blue. I have this on my night time rod and i can catch bass and striper all night long without any problems just remember to retie after a big fish.Answers

CX seems to be more durable to me than the 100% Flourocarbon. 100% is alittle too stiff for me.

flourocarbon coatedTop 500 Contributor
A:Â
Obviously flourocarbon line is more abrasion resistent and withstands uv light which keeps it from breaking down.A:Â
This line. Better knot strengths. Better casting control.Answers

Is this line (P-Line Cx Premium)virtually invisible under water and does it sink like fluorocarbon?
Answers
A:Â
YES ON BOTH COUNTS DROPSHOTING TEX RIG, MOJO RIG, SKIPPING.A:Â
In Mexico, in very bright sunlight, the line above water appeared to be light fluorescent blue, but wasn't visible underwater, at least to the humans on the boat.Top 1000 Contributor
A:Â
Just as invisible as any other flourocarbon line, if not better. The sink rate is not as fast as 100% flourocarbons, but it still sinks. I think this is the best value line out there. Another very important factor for me is the memory of the line. It has almost no memory and that makes it easy to cast with minimal backlash.A:Â
I have been using it for several months now. Because its a co-polymer with fluorocarbon coating it does sink, not as fast as a 100% fluoro but it is very strong line. I picked up a 35 pound river rock cause my lure got stuck and the line didn't break, or even so much as stretch. If you have been using mono lines more and are trying this out for the first time, the sink rate is still almost twice as fast because the line does sink.1 of 1
