The unit worked really well during the last month of hunting season. I saw more deer and I could tell that it was putting out ozone (the active ingredient). However, the battery began over heating when being charged (it is supposed to be a smart charger that stops before that happens). Now the battery has a shorter charge life (It worked well longer than the warranty but less than a year), and the intensity of Ozone seems diminished. I would wait another season for them to work out the bugs.

The ozonics website says the HR-150 is to be used only in a ground blind. The bracket has a tree screw so i was wandering if it works good from a tree stand.Answers
A:Â
HR-150 does not put out enough ozone to cover you in a tree stand. Have to have HR-200 to cover your scent.A:Â
The Ozonics may be used while hunting from a tree stand if mounted at least 4-6 inches above your head and in a position to project the ozone downwind and downward at a 30 to 45 degree angle in order to create an ozone layer between the hunter and the prey. Do not aim directly at the hunter.Details:Â
Does it have ac and 12V (auto) charging capabilities? Can you operate in a vehicle, closet etc. How many sq ft is reccomended for a room size?Answers
A:Â
It only has a wall charger, not recommended in any enclosed non-ventilated room. Ozone can be harmful if breathed in large quatities. Unit only runs from battery power.A:Â
My unit just plugs into the wall to charge. I have charged it in my car ( I have a 110 outlet in my dash for laptop computers). I have even started it, when in the car, to kill odor stuck to me as I am driving to the field to go hunt. This kills battery time left to use on the stand, and ozone is not good to breath at high concentrations. I have had no problems personally, but some people are sensitive to ozone.1 of 1
