Hooks are sharp and nicely designed. They are finished with some kind of coat of material that keeps your bait from sliding off the neck. It's worked great for me when I throw it with a top water plastic frog, since I throw it weighless, the bait doesn't slide when far casting. And Lilly pads don't pull the bait back either.

Bait stays on the hook extremely well - Sharpest Hook I have ever used right out of the Pack - I have been a Mustadf user for many years but I am in the process of switching all my hook sizes to the "Owner" line - awesome hook.....
