another awesome hook from owner. i use the 4/0 for all my non-weighted soft plastics. i use the 3/0 jig rigs for weighted presentations. this hook in a 5" stick worm kills for me. the hooks are sharp and strong. i know when i set the hook the fish will make it to the boat. i have caught a ton of bass on owner hooks the last two years. trust me buy these hooks.

Use the EWG hook for throwing plastic swim baits here in Florida. The EWG seems to perform better than regular offset hooks and hook ups come more offer. Owner makes the best in my opinion!

For my unique rigging of soft craws, I needed an stout ultra sharp, wide gap, heavy wire hook to handle big fish. The owner 2/0 wide gap fit the bill perfectly . Befor ,I would slightly bend the hook point upward for better penetration . Now with the extra wide gap plus, that's not necessary.

Began using this hook in the 2/0 size last year and have found my hook-up ratio has improved. As a person who fishes mostly tidal waters for largemouth this is very important. My original reason for using these hooks was primarily for creature/beaver baits; but the hooks are so sharp and strong I use them for stick worms as well.
