They straighten out when you have a keeper Redfish on and of course you losse them.

I buy these specifically for plastic crawbugs. it gives them a lifelike defensive position (upright). it even forces the claws to rise! Perfect for creating the defensive retreat move too. Just put the jig head in or under the tail and you'll see.
Don't leave them in soft bait bags too long because the head and hook will decompose.

I love ths sharpness of the hook but the barp is soo short it's barely noticable and doesn't hold fish very well....Lost way too many nice bass using these hooks....But it does present the tube bait in a much better light keepin it upright...
