Versatile jig I use these for craws, worms and other soft plastics. Slides nicely through weeds and grass. I paint them with Pro Tech powder paint. May 6, 2010
Awesome Love this head! Works perfect around brush and rocks. Allows you to texas rig a grub or whatever and fish it on the bottom or swim it, but it's different than just a bullet weight. The bottom of the head is almost shaped like a banana head so it comes through brush and grass much better. Only drawback is the hook point will bend from time to time when hung on a rock. Absolutley a great head! June 10, 2010
Owner Ultrahead Jig Hooks Excellent design for grubs, worms and skirted double tail plastics. I've fished this set up in both local and regional tournaments with great success. In icy cold weather or hot stagnant conditions, dropping them in tough weed beds where the big ones lie and wait for baitfish. Wish Owner made these in heavier sizes !!! February 8, 2011
Good but not the best I like this for my bass fishing. I use this with almost all my soft plastic baits when I want a long cast. The only thing I don't like is the head is gray and I have found when I am fishing is that black heads work better. March 26, 2010

A:
About 2" long. I used only these hooks for my tube fishing and the hook fits about 1/4" behind the back of the tube where the tail starts. Great hook sets and glides thru weeds nice. Easy to change color tubes without having to retie. I go thru about 15 to 20 a season and switch from 1/4 to 3/8oz as water and fishing depth demand.

A:
From eye to bend, about 2-1/4 inches, comparable to a 1/0 worm hook but with a wider gap.
