Owner Power Point 4X Treble Hook - 5666
I've tried other hooks / trebles and every time I do I wonder why I did as I keep coming back to the Owner brand. By far the sharpest / strongest hooks on the market. Yes they are a little more expensive but I believe they are worth it - you get what you pay for!!

i swap these with the factory hooks on the lucky crafts. these things take any abuse a fish can throw at them and then begs for more, i recommend to use these to switch out any hook on any lure for more hookups and better power

Maybe qualifies as a 1x strong?
I generally use VMC #4, 4x strong treble hooks, but unfortunately they were unavailable at the time. So I purchased a box of 25 for King Mackerel rigs, until they became restocked. While preparing for the U.S. King Mackerel Tournament, I had several times where we had been trolling several different locations, and we averaged 1 out of 3 strikes where the fish had not bent the treble hook, but rather bite the hooks into. The fish were not sharks, cudas, but King Mackerel and Wahoo. I have fished a lot of tournaments, and been very fortunate to win quite a few, but don't rely on these hooks they will not stand up to any large gamefish. Case in point: That same year during the U.S. KMT the VMC,s did arrive, and during the tournament we landed over 20 King Mackerel between 18-24 lbs. and one Wahoo that weighed 84.lbs 2oz.

power Point 4X tregle hook
These trebles are just the ticket for deep jigging for Cod, Pollock, and other bottom fishes up here on Jeffery's Ledge, off the New Hampshire Coast 25 miles.
They hold up well with the corision that affects most of the other brands of trebles i see.
