The Owner® ''J'' Bass Hooks are perfect for Carolina and Texas rigging lizards and other larger soft plastic bass baits. Designed so the point surfaces quickly on hook sets and an extra-wide bend which reduces the chance of fish throwing the hook, these ''J'' Bass Hooks feature Owner's exclusive triple-edge, needle-sharp Cutting Point® for instant hooks sets. The worm-holding Z-Lock shoulder bend holds plastics on firmly in place. Black chrome finish for superior corrosion resistance.

  • Great for Carolina and Texas rigging
  • Extra-wide bend
  • Z-Lock shoulder bend
  • Cutting Point
  • Black chrome finish

Owner J Hook Owner makes excellent hooks, strong, very sharp. The J Hook has a little shorter shank than the Gammy, and that shorter shank is helpful with some smaller plastic baits, while still maintaining a wide gap. November 8, 2014
Not A Good Worm Hook Too short a shank for what I need. Do like shape and cutting point but just too short for 7" worms October 21, 2011
Great hook Found a pack of these laying in the grass at a lake i fish at and started using them for 10 inch worms. Real good hook, super sharp, and good hook up rate. When I run out of free ones i plan on going to buy a pack. August 6, 2011
Great Hooks I have used many different hooks for Texas style fishing but these are the best. As sharp as any and just as important, stronger than any other hook. July 20, 2011

A:
I use the Gamakatsu 2/O offset worm hook, works perfectly for this small lizard. Just be careful not to get the EWG worm hook. Just the standard 2/O offset worm hook.
