Owner Down Shot Offset Hook - Model 5133
The best drop-shot hook!
I have fished this hook since i first saw it on the shelves, this is by far the best drop-shot hook i have seen and used to this day! I love the fact that i can hook up a small bait Texas style on this hook when drop-shotting. Plus, these hooks are super sharp and hold up against rocks, zebra muscles, wood, and cribs with no trouble at all. I use the 3/0 size for all my drop-shotting, smallies never get off in deep water, they are so sharp they penetrate though a fishes mouth in 50ft of water! Try these hooks, you will be very happy, Cheers!

excellent is an understatement!! owner really did an excellent job with this one. works great on the dropshot rig. i think they are sharp enough that they set themselves. rarely lose a fish once it bites. i also use these wacky rigging. other reviews write about the concern of straightening hooks. i havent experienced this on a fish and have caught quite a few 5 pounders, although i do have the drag set for 6 to 8 pound test. i have straightened them, however after hanging them in submerged timber and tried to break off my line. the hook just straightened and came free, bent it back and went right bact to catching fish. try them you wont be dissapointed in this premium hook. tight lines, wavewalker

Light and sharp
I am true believer in the size 1. Big or small fish, even the hooks stayed sharp and used over and over again. I am always using the size 1 and have no problems in handling 5-6 pounders.
They excels in open water situation where the Trokar size 1 are too visible. However, the Trokar are very sharp and are better in the vegetation cover when you can't really feel the bites. Without over stating it, the vegetation will set the hook for you.
Back to the Owner, sharp, strong and solid hooks. Size 1 is my go to size.

Best drop shot hook
Ive tried several different brands of drop shot hooks. The Owner brand seem to be a little tougher and sharper-they dont seem to dull the tip when you get a snag. The little offset at the eye also helps the hook stick out from the line a little better than a hook without this feature. They also have the extra bend in the curve of the hook that they claim helps to hold the plastic worm in its correct spot. Seemsthat it does work as they say it should. Its the only drop shot hook I buy now.
