Just came in from a successful trip to the woods this morning. This knife rocks! after 2 full seasons, i am thoroughly impressed. I field dressed 2 deer this morning (popping through the chest bone on both) and it will still shave hair off my arm. The orange handle is great for keeping track of your knife during the field dressing process. The skinning knife rocks for skinning, and the saw works well on pelvic bones also. I've used this knife to fully butcher at least 15 deer, and breast out numerous turkey, geese, and other game in the past 2 years- it has lived up to all its claims. I'm now a believer.

I got this knife and I've used it to field dress several deer, but I noticed after skinning the first deer it was dull. The blade has some rust on it and I've kept it dry and in it's case. I just don't think the quality is there for the price. Outdoor edge has another set in a box and the quality is poor as well. They look great and they perform, but the set just doesn't have the quality I expected. I think their products are over priced and don't match up to most quality knife sets on the market.

Great knife, sharp, reasonably priced and i highly recommend orange. If you set it down at all during field dressing you can find it! Just a great concept, Used mine for two year now and just getting ready to sharpen it for the first time.

This thing came sharp! Be careful!!! I'm still trying to get my deer[I better hurry, have only 2 weeks left here in ca.] Have cleaned some quail with it,though. My hunt bud has the flip version, and we both love either knife.

better than any other knife i've ever owned. i love it.A:Â
Positive blade lock for the drop point. Adequate lock for the zip blade. Quartered an elk and still had a good edge that dressed easily.A:Â
The blade locks open, but it is not hard to unlock when you want to. It usually holds an edge through 2-3 animals before needing any attention. Sharpening is best done with a high quality ceramic sharpener, but it does not take much effort to sharpen.1 of 1
