This is a great set for elk, moose, sheep, etc. I use a ceramic stick to bring up an edge. Will stay sharp through 3 or 4 animals before you need to work the edge. Careful, this knife is extra sharp out of the box.

I recieved this kit for Valentine's Day from my wife, and I love it. The Saw is very thin, but seems very sturdy, and the knife is very sharp, and it comes with a small case that can be mounted to a belt loop, or a backpack either vertical or horizontal. The Case seems to be very tight with both inside, but it seems to work well. I cannot wait to try it on my first doe of the season. OH, one thing they dont tell you is that there are two different styles of closing tabs on the knife, one is a push down (to shut the knife) and one you have to push sideways (to shut the skinning/gut blade)
