it is a great knife, I bought it for my friend as a birthday present. He is very fond of fishing and this knife made him very happy. The blade is razor sharp and you can carry it just as a poket knife.

this knife is a must have i keep mine in my tackle bag at all times works great for filleting a quick shore lunch or back at home cleaning the days catch. the lock on the blade is secure, the blade comes razor sharp and holds its edge and sharpens quickly i would reccomend to any one

I have carried one of these knives for several years and have recommended it to all my fishing and hunting buddies. Don't let the price or the fact that it folds fool you - it is a top notch, quality product !! Outdoor Edge uses very high quality steel in all their blades and this knife is no exception. It takes and holds a superb edge. I do all my own butchering and have never owned or used a better knife for deboning shoulder blades and removing the tenderloins and backstraps from deer sized game.

do u mean, does the blade hold an edge? if so then thats a yes i recently took mine to the mississippi river and after a day of fishing I cleaned a 5 gallon bucket of white bass and the knife was still a razor for the next two days and even then all it needed was a little touch up and it was as good as new1 of 1
