Outdoor Edge ''Advanced Wild Game Processing Volume 3: Sausage'' Video - DVD
Outdoor Edge Advanced Wild Game Processing Review
The Outdoor Edge ''Deer and Big Game Processing" DVD is very comprehensive and well produced. One detraction from the DVD is the over insertion of Outdoor Edge product plugs throughout the video. Overall I still recommend it.

This DVD is very informative. The guy there goes in great details to explain every step of preparing several products. He explains the effect of surface moisture, the temperature to set your smoker at,...etc. on the final product. He explains the mistakes that would make your product dry. not appropriately smoked and so on. He also provides solution to those mistakes. For instance, he explains what to do if the product is lightly smoked (less than desired).
The narrator likes to talk, but I find him trying to give us as much information as he can in the set time, so he talks one piece of information after the other.
I dd buy the DVD about de-boning Elk and immediately ordered this one. I was not disappointed by either DVD and will order the rest of the series. Had I known that his DVDs were that great I would have bought the entire set and saved a few bucks.
If you would like to enhance your game processing techniques I highly recommend this DVD (and this series actually).
I do not mind the few adds in between. I found outdoor edge products to be very good and I personally do not mind being introduced to their other stuff
Happy hunting and happy game processing.

I'm impressed with this DVD, it was produced with the backyard gourmet in mind! I have numerous books on sausage making, but sometimes you just need to see it done. Some great tips!

Very Good, Informative DVD!
This is a great instructional dvd! I have been making summer sausage and bologna for years but have been nervous about branching out to try other types of sausage. This dvd shows how simple it is to make your own sausage. Since watching it I have already made snack sticks with great results and I am excited about branching out and trying other sausages now. I think I am going to try Italian sausage and breakfast sausage next.
