Rated 4 out of 5 by Great for the money. Get it. I have the CFO II paired to my ORVIS Superfine Touch 8'6" 3wt and it matches the styling well. I had a Lamson LiteSpeed on that rod but felt the weren't well matched. The reel is all machined aluminum which makes it pretty light. This is not a large arbor reel but if you're matching it to lightweight (1-3wt) rods that shouldn't be a problem. It's all metal, no plastic parts in the drag system or the handle. If you can get these on sale do. They are classy looking. You can splurge and get the limited editions made in England which will cost you 5-6x more, but you'd be getting the same reel. I'd get this one instead. I do find it a little hard to reel in after setting the drag tight...but that's only on the startup and for a split second. After that it's perfect—and you can't beat that classic sound! December 27, 2012
