I can't objectively review this item because it never worked. Out of the package I charged it per the instructions but the battery would not take a charge. I had to return the light to the Grapevine store which defeated the purpose of ordering on-line as I ended up having to travel to the store anyway. I paid for overnight shipping which I had to eat due to a faulty product.

So far I have to say this is great product. I replaced a larger, heavier hand held light with this product, and used it to hunt a field for a downed deer. It worked great and was light weight to carry. Item description says it has an overcharge protection built in which is an improvement from past hand held lights I have owned. We shall see, I have only had this product for 3 months and right now I love it. I still would like to see a fully charged indicator.

Purchased this product less than a yr ago and the rechargeable sealed lead acid battery is already dead with no warranty on battery. Cost of new battery is $22.99 lowest price found. Not only will I not pay this for a new battery I will never purchase a Optronics product again due to quality.

Good light for the boat and for the farm. The beam goes a long ways out.

The lamp will carry 20-25 minutes of steady burn time. The best indicator to recharge will be when the lamp is fairly dim or has been unused for three or more months. Do not use the lamp until it goes completely out. Thanks
