LED's lasted no time, plug in socket low quality. Buy a $12.00 one and use for years, even though they use more battery power. This thing is junk. It might last you until warranty expires or goes out sooner. Mine has about 20 hours on it and you would think it's 20 years old. Also, light pops out of styrofoam often

First time use out of the box and one of the LED's quit. The light does not seem to penetrate dark water very deep. (Lake Hatchineha - Central Florida)
A few bait fish could be seen near the surface but fishing buddies with exterior, above water lights got much more attention. It may be designed for clearer water.
Also, I could not keep the light from floating right along side the boat. The cord is so thick that it would not uncoil enough for the light to float out.
It did, however, run for over 3 hours on an automotive jump box. Uses almost no power.
The concept of the UV LED ring was cool but really too bright and distracting. I really wanted this product to work. Oh well, it's going back.

The light worked as designed but it also attracted many bugs due to the LEDs on the top. The bait fish was attracted and you could see them within four feet of the surface. Also purchased the submersible light for 1/3 the price. It gets deeper to where the fish are at.

One model has WHITE and GREEN while other model has WHITE and BLUE/uV. This is not obvious from packaging. uV causes fluorescent items (fishing line) to be visible without scaring fish or affecting night-vision. I don't do green.Details:Â
How many watts or candlepower do these produce? How many do the regular floating car headlight produce...neither is listed on the Optronics website

Energy efficient LED's draw less than 1/2 amp per hourñlight runs for days on a typical 12-volt battery! So, then the watts should equal to 6.
