This light is not bright at all. I guess it could be used as a "docking light" only, but it is definitely not bright enough to navigate rivers or light up channel markers. I gave this product 2 stars because of its easy mounting and for its ability to be totally removed from its bracket with the turn of one screw.

This light is absolute junk! Don't waste your money. Mine fell apart on the inside from vibration the first time I took it out on the lake.

PURCHASED ONE OF THESE A FEW SEASONS BACK. KEEP HAVING TO REPLACE THE 12-V RECEPTACLE AND CIGAR PLUG. RAN HEAVY WIRING UP TO THE 12-V OUTLET TO MAKE SURE I PROVIDED NECESSARY POWER SUPPLY BUT CONTINUE HAVING PROBLEMS. WHAT IS THE AMPERAGE DRAW OF THIS LIGHT????
