I purchased this to make it easier to chrage my onboard batteries with my new onboard charging system. Now when I'm done fishing I merely need to plug an extension cord into the center console.

Bought two of these inlet charger mounts for my Chev Duramax heater plugs. The old cord that comes with the vehicle wears in this climate and I hav had to replace often. Drill hole in the bumper and mounted cord to this inlet and it works great. No more cord floping and breaking. Easy to use even when front of the vehicles have iced over.

although it requires a 1 and 7/8 inch bit to drill the hole it is so easy to hook up and use. have two on my boat now

A:
The wires feed through a rubber boot that comes with the device and attaches to screw terminals. You need to cut the plug off of the charger and replace it with this.
