These are a good qaulity pair of pants that are light weight and briar resistant!! my only complaint would be that the pocket for the slate call is to small for any of my slate calls, not sure what kind of slate they used when they made these pants. I plan on getting the matching shirt next year.

This stuff is the cats meow. Legs and arms are waterproof and breatheable keeping you warm and dry in those dewey morning woods and rainy conditions. Breathability is outsatnding on warm days! Pockets are placed strategically and well thought out. Hunted last two weeks in public forrest in Mo Ozarks up and down in hills and hollers putting in at least 75 miles ground pounding,shirt and pants held up well and with propper layering worked in temps from 38-80 degrees. Bagged two birds wearing this!!

This product is made from a lightweight, fade resistant material that dries very quickly and is briar resistant. First pair of pants that I could walk thru briars without getting hung up!! These are not made from military grade material but being in the military for 12 years I can tell you I would wear fatigues made out of dura-light if allowed too..Images for this Answer

just bought these a week ago so you probably already have your answer, but it is no, these pants are made out of lightweight close mesh fabric, it seems to be pretty durable, I've been through some brush and thick stuff and no damage to the pants, not so bad on the body either, hope this helps, I would recommend them1 of 1
