Okuma Nomad Travel 3-Piece Spinning Rods
A little too Long?
Looks like a great quality rod for the bucks, probably the best deal out there. But I intended to put it into a suit case as I already have a carry on bag for my electronics when I travel. The 32" handle is a little too long for my suit case so I am off to buy another. When I ordered my rod they did not have the handle length in the add, (they do now) It would be nice if it fit into a standard 26" suit case (corner to corner).

Superb travel rods
I have both spinning and casting models. Used both heavily off the beach and from a boat with great results. Spent 5 days casting both and never had a failure of the sections coming apart. Used the lighter tip sections from the beach and the heavier from the boat. I combined both rods into one carry bag with no problem. Well worth the price.

Nomad heavy spinning rod
By far the sturdiest travel spinning rod I've seen. Easily handled numerous 25 to 35 lb tuna. Matched well with Penn Slammer 760.
