Their small diameter with rated strength allows the angler to use a long leader yet bring the fish within gaffing range. Using this wind-on swivel helps eliminate line twist unlike the use of loop-to-loop wind-on leaders.

The best there is for catfishing. I have never had one fail. I use a small plastic bead ahead of the swivel. same size as the swivel, counterbored to just clear the knot. I can wind it up to the reel and cast it through the line guides. I cast farther and more accuratly with this set-up.
