Offshore Angler Tight Line - 1/4 lb. Spools
All I Use
I use this line for cat fishing on Lake Tawakoni, in East Texas. This is all that we use. We have landed huge Blues without ever having one break off. The florescent
line is perfect for drift-fishing in low light conditions. These old eyes are not what they used to be. You won't be disappointed.

Line twist off spool
I bought this for cheap line to put on 4 Zebco33 spincasters and based on the reviews and the discription it I thought it was a pretty good deal. I ordered the 8lb spool and when I got it it felt like pretty good line. Its tought and has low stretch. I tried to spool it up the right way with the spool label facing up got about 20 cranks in and the line was wrapping around the pole tip about 10 inches. I cut that line off and tried to respool again same thing. Cut that line off and tried to spool it on with the spool sideways and the line coming straight off the spool and onto the reel. Got about 30 cranks and the line had wrapped around the screwdriver so tight I had to cut the line. Gonna chunk this spool because its unusable. I pulled about 20ft off the spool and it got those "wind knots" from directly off the spool. I've been fishing 20+ and have had no problems putting line on spincasters, baitcasters, or spinningreels. Not sure if the spool I got was a bad one but it has line twist off the spool.

I have been using tight line for years for making rigs and leaders because of its abrasion resistance and knot strength. I have tried other brands in a pinch but always come back to tight line.
