There are times and there are places where using an IGFA line isn't all that important—because getting the fish to the boat is the only thing that really matters. That's when you load your reel with Tight Line superior-grade monofilament. Ultra-low stretch, small diameter, and amazing abrasion resistance take this line's performance far beyond that of regular monofilaments. Try it, and we predict you'll soon find yourself casting into nastier holding places—because for the first time, you know you can get the fish out. Besides, let's face it: snook and grouper don't fight fair, so why should you? It's time to take off the kid gloves—spool up with Tight Line!

I am a freshwater fisherman and live in Wisconsin. I fish Walleye a lot and they often hang out in rocks and such and have major teeth!
I was looking for a co-polymar line but chose Offshore Angler Premium Saltwater line in 6# just to try it out. It's under $6 for 2155 yards so I thought what the heck.
First let me say that the knot strength is far better than any other 6lb mono I have ever tried or currently have. ( I am talking Berkley, Stren and the like) And I would put it against any 6lb co-polymar out there for knot strength and abraision resistance.
I just compared it to Cajun Advantage, my personal favorite Co-polymar line and the breaking strength is the same at about 8.5 lbs using a double cinch knot for both lines to compare. That's Great! Now that's really, really good for a 6# mono. Try THAT with YOUR 6# mono and see if it will hold up to 8.5 pounds with your favorite knot!

I use this line for cat fishing on Lake Tawakoni, in East Texas. This is all that we use. We have landed huge Blues without ever having one break off. The florescent
line is perfect for drift-fishing in low light conditions. These old eyes are not what they used to be. You won't be disappointed.

This is a good general purpose fishing line. However I think the price can be a bit less. I found a similar line at Atlantic and Gulf for a lot less.
