There are times and there are places where using an IGFA line isn't all that important -- because getting the fish to the boat is the only thing that really matters. That's when you load your reel with Tight Line superior-grade monofilament. Ultra-low stretch, small diameter, and amazing abrasion resistance take this line's performance far beyond that of regular monofilaments. Try it, and we predict you'll soon find yourself casting into nastier holding places—because for the first time, you know you can get the fish out. Besides, let's face it: snook and grouper don't fight fair, so why should you? It's time to take off the kid gloves—spool up with Tight Line!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Great line for the price This is one tough line seems to hold up very well when fishing rocky areas not much abrasion, good knot strength. The yellow line is highly visible when fishing with a black light at night. You can't beat the price either. June 1, 2010
Rated 4 out of 5 by Good for the price I must say I'm usually a line snob only spooling up with high dollar lines. With hard times on us I decided to try out some of this line from Offshore Angler That was very reasonably priced. Well several spools and fish later I'm sold. I've Landed just as many yellowtail, dorado, and tuna with this stuf thatn with the high dollar stuff. Sometimes I wind on some flouro if it's sunny because the diameter is a bit thicker. No. It could have been a bad batch or poor terminal tackle.

Yes But NOT with this line exclusively. Check For a nick in a rod guide or the pick up or levelor on your reel. All it take is a tiny nick to fray line. Hope this helps. Fiahaholicnorcal

I use the exact same line for fishing the ocean on the Outer Banks of NC and have not had an issue with any fraying. I have been using it for over 8 years now. I

I used the 25# and could not get it to stay on the reel. It kept un-winding off the spool (spinning reel) even after pulling the line off the spool and trying to stretch it. At least you got to use yours.
