There are times and there are places where using an IGFA line isn't all that important -- because getting the fish to the boat is the only thing that really matters. That's when you load your reel with Offshore Angler™ Tight Line™ superior-grade monofilament. Ultra-low stretch, small diameter, and amazing abrasion resistance take this line's performance far beyond that of regular monofilaments. Try it, and we predict you'll soon find yourself casting into nastier holding places—because for the first time, you know you can get the fish out. Besides, let's face it: snook and grouper don't fight fair, so why should you? It's time to take off the kid gloves—spool up with Tight Line!

Great Line This is by far the best line I've ever purchased. Sure, it may look like regular yellow line, but don't let the 20 lb test rating fool you. It might as well be rated 200 lb test. It is next to impossible to break on a snag, and it **will** pull in just about any sized river fish. Also, a very good value compared to similar lines. July 12, 2011
#1 catfish line made This has to be the best line for river fishing catfish, I've ever used, It's very strong, with little memory, just what you need to pull the big ones from their heavy snagged beds. You'll also notice how smooth it cast, with less weight! To top it all off, the bright yellow color, is seen easly, day or night! August 2, 2012
Super Price! Trusted this product with a 70 lb. flathead catfish at Santee Cooper Lake. Put heavy strain on line to get the fish off the bottom. Did it with confidence in the line and got the fish. Line could be a little more soft and flexible. Love the yellow. Easy to see at night with black light January 1, 2011
Great quality for the money! I've used just about every brand of mono available. This stuff is just as good as the higher priced line and a whole lot cheaper. I have actually had better luck with knot retention using the Tight Line. If you need a high quality line without the high price choose this one. January 28, 2011

No. It could have been a bad batch or poor terminal tackle.

Yes But NOT with this line exclusively. Check For a nick in a rod guide or the pick up or levelor on your reel. All it take is a tiny nick to fray line. Hope this helps. Fiahaholicnorcal

I use the exact same line for fishing the ocean on the Outer Banks of NC and have not had an issue with any fraying. I have been using it for over 8 years now. I

I used the 25# and could not get it to stay on the reel. It kept un-winding off the spool (spinning reel) even after pulling the line off the spool and trying to stretch it. At least you got to use yours.

I use 80# test so--no-- too large a diameter to have adequate amount on spool.
