There are times and there are places where using an IGFA line isn't all that important -- because getting the fish to the boat is the only thing that really matters. That's when you load your reel with Tight Line superior-grade monofilament. Ultra-low stretch, small diameter, and amazing abrasion resistance take this line's performance far beyond that of regular monofilaments. Try it, and we predict you'll soon find yourself casting into nastier holding places—because for the first time, you know you can get the fish out. Besides, let's face it: snook and grouper don't fight fair, so why should you? It's time to take off the kid gloves—spool up with Tight Line!

I have 60# spooled on my Penn international reel, and I make heavy leaders out of the 100# spool I have for all my friends. Even the blues don't get all the way through this line after multiple catches. The 100# is a bit stiff for tying knots but crimping works great. The 60# is easy to tie and doesn't have the mushy feeling of normal mono lines, have pulled several fish from around pillars of the pier and even though the line will get shredded it holds on allowing the fish to be landed with ease. No other $10 spool of line will get you this quality. Try it out, you will be impressed.

I've used this line for five years now and never lost a tuna because of line failure...excellent knot strength and supple enough for tying "good" knots you can trust not to fail.

In the fishing capital of the U.S., line is one of the most important items. This line beats any I have used. For the reef, I use 40 and 60# and in the back countrry I use 12 & 25#. Never had a break, no matter what is on the other end.

This is by far the best line I've ever purchased. Sure, it may look like regular yellow line, but don't let the 20 lb test rating fool you. It might as well be rated 200 lb test. It is next to impossible to break on a snag, and it **will** pull in just about any sized river fish. Also, a very good value compared to similar lines.
