Offshore Angler Tight Line - 1/2 lb. Spools
Get what you pay for
Bought this in the 15 ib yellow based on all the good reviews. Turns out that it casts poorly, terribly stiff with significant tangling, and very good memory ( which you don't want). Had my son walk it down the street, gave it a good pull to stretch the memory out and reeled it in, getting rid of all the line twist. I did this 2 times. I thought it fixed all the problems. Went fishing the next day and same results. I've spooled many a spinning reel over the years and never had the problems that I have with this.. Not sure what I can do with the remaining 1200 yards or so. I do not recommend this.

Great cheap line!
I have 60# spooled on my Penn international reel, and I make heavy leaders out of the 100# spool I have for all my friends. Even the blues don't get all the way through this line after multiple catches. The 100# is a bit stiff for tying knots but crimping works great. The 60# is easy to tie and doesn't have the mushy feeling of normal mono lines, have pulled several fish from around pillars of the pier and even though the line will get shredded it holds on allowing the fish to be landed with ease. No other $10 spool of line will get you this quality. Try it out, you will be impressed.

been using for three years
This is one of the best mono lines I have been able to find for the value. It has never let us down and to date the largest fish we have caught on 40 lb. line is 84 pounds using this line.
