  • Ultra-lightweight
  • Faster and more accurate gaffing
  • Manuevers with ease
  • Anodized aluminum construction
Lighter, faster, and easier to handle than standard gaffs! With our Offshore Angler advanced Tapered Gaffs, you may never miss another fish! Ultra-strong, super-tough gaffs give you all the muscle you need in the main gripping areas, like the butt end and middle section, but are tapered toward the hook for a slimmer, less resistant presence in the water. The result is faster, more accurate gaffing than ever before! Maneuvers with ease, giving you a greater advantage over those flailing, thrashing monsters. Anodized aluminum construction is ultra-lightweight and corrosion-resistant.
Rated 2.5 out of 5 by 2 reviewers.
Rated 4 out of 5 by Worked Well on Albacore I bought the 6' gaff for use when we couldn't keep up with netting the tuna. I gaffed five tuna in a row that ranged between 22 lbs and 28 lbs and it worked fine. The sharp point sliced right through them. I think it's wise to lift straight up to avoid too much bending stress on the shaft, but it feels strong in your hands and the hook seems securely mounted in the tapered end. March 22, 2013
Rated 1 out of 5 by Gaff Pulled Apart I picked up a small AJ (<25 lbs) with a new Offshore Angler tapered gaff and the hook pulled out of the gaff. First use? Luckily the fish was over the boat in a clear spot. Very disappointed in the (poor) quality of constuction. August 6, 2012

A:
double facet, beveled edge - it is NOT a round point, but two flat surfaces to form the facet. This type of point cuts instead of puncturing.
