When using my split-ring pliers, one of the common problems I have with the stock split-rings on the lures, is that they tend to bend very easily. Having a pack of these around has been great. I'm glad I decided to pick up a bag with the pliers otherwise I'd be cursing right now at the bent rings on my lures rendering them unusable.
If you fish often, and need to change hooks regularly on your lures, I recommend having some of these as replacements. If it wasn't so tedious, I'd probably change all of the rings on my lures to these.

Happy with the product but unfortunately it's not labeled properly - it advises that it's for 50lb and we tested it with 80lb and 200lb thread and both broke before the rings did. We had to return the product and order a smaller size.
