Offshore Angler Split Rings
Stronger than most.
When using my split-ring pliers, one of the common problems I have with the stock split-rings on the lures, is that they tend to bend very easily. Having a pack of these around has been great. I'm glad I decided to pick up a bag with the pliers otherwise I'd be cursing right now at the bent rings on my lures rendering them unusable.
If you fish often, and need to change hooks regularly on your lures, I recommend having some of these as replacements. If it wasn't so tedious, I'd probably change all of the rings on my lures to these.

re: Model: 72201
Size 7, supposedly 100 lb test, are no way even close to that or the rating system is flawed...these were opening up on me with less than 30lb pollock and tearing the treble hooks right off the jigs.
OK for small fish , or of you get hooked on the bottom you can get your jig back just by yanking, but I'll not loose another pool fish to these....buying Owner #9 split rings instead until I find something decent....even their double strength line only claim to go up to 90lb

Happy with the product but unfortunately it's not labeled properly - it advises that it's for 50lb and we tested it with 80lb and 200lb thread and both broke before the rings did. We had to return the product and order a smaller size.
