Offshore Angler Slipper Heads
This Product works awesome on king fish. Put the bait fish on the hook and they sink the bait far enough to make the king get the bait and get hooked up. We caught North Carolina's limit in 3 hours using this tackle and nothing else all day. worked GREAT. Did not matter weither we used live bait or frozen bait. Just another great product from BASS PRO.

Not for the big boys
I used these jig heads this summer while fishing some of the Florida Keys fishing bridges. The initial quality seemed good and they tracked well in the water. They also kept the bait upright, even after my bait died the jig kept it upright.
Before I used them the hook points required sharpening and the eye has to be cleared of paint.
The paint isn't the most durable after a few hits the paint started looking rough.
I caught several under limit grouper and the jigs fared well but when I hooked a rather large Jack Crevalle the jig nearly straightened out before I landed the fish. Another jig bent on a 23 inch grouper as well.
For the thick gauge of the wire and the larger sizes these jigs come in, I expected more. If Gamakatsu used wire that thick on their hooks you could tow your boat with them, but these jigs are too soft.

Pretty good product
I picked a few of these up in the1/4 oz size white to fish the local kelp beds with. Sometimes you want the smaller weight/hook when fishing and these fit the bill. I'v'e had some very good success hooking a whole squid (live or dead) and catching calicos and a couple WSB's......I do wish they came with a little stronger hook in that after a fish the hook came back opened up slightly...

Excellent for Yellowtail!
I use these for yellowtail during the summer months, with silversides, and I have caught flags 20"+ on these jigs. I prefer the 1/8th oz, but have used them all. You need an assortment of weights, so you can adjust to conditions. They work excellent, I have caught hundreds of yellowtails on these jigs!
