Offshore Angler™ Sea Lion™ Spinning Rods
I bought a Sea Lion rod at the BPS in Fort Myers when I was on vacation a couple years ago. It is an 8-foot, 2-piece, MH rod. It looks like that model isn't made anymore. Unfortunate, because I love it. Having a two-piece rod is important because I travel with it. I bought the rod to use for inshore fishing, but I realize now that it is a little bit too heavy. That's not the rod's fault; I simply wasn't aware of what type of tackle is best for inshore use.
The rod is durable, looks good, and is strong. I'd recommend Sea Lion rods without hesitation.

I wanted a 6' saltwater rod . I fish Blues and Stripers from a party boat. I thought for the price I would try a SeaLion. The quality is very good for the price. The rod is made in China. I am happy with the rod for what I paid and plan on buying another. It did arrive broken. The insert in the biggest line guide had come out. I looked at the shipping tube and it had been handled poorly by the post office. I repaired the rod.
This rod has 6 guides all with double feet. The picture on Basspro does not do this rod justice.
I suggest this rod . It is nice.

These rods are amazing! They are rated up 40lb. test line. Its the reel that you have to worry about when battling with big fish. The rod is durable and very tough. For its size it has many giudes. Well built and great value you can not beat the sea lion family!
