6'6' 15-30 = "super rod" Cannot do better for a general-purpose rod. I have three - all have 25 or 30 lb line on them. Have caught fish (all salt-water) from 1/2 lb to 35 lbs. Never a grunt from anything but the fisherman! These rods have performed much better than ever could have been expected. Better than friends' rods costing five times as much! Day in, day out, just sturdy fish-catching rods. What else do you want them to do?!?! Enough said. September 14, 2010
It's garbage I used this for saltwater fishing and it performed well the first year I used it. I always washed it down with freshwater after use. I pulled my rods out in the spring and this was the only one I've ever had in my life that started to rust around the eyes. I was disappointed but continued to use it. However during it's third use this year the bottom eye broke off from the rust. Now that it has come off I can see that the eyes are basically just saudered on. September 14, 2010
SEALION After reading several reviews about the many low price conventional rods on BASS PRO, I chose this rod overall because it was on sale that day. It has proven to be a great rod and caught me my first sturgeon keeper for the year, this rod proved to be just as good as my friends expensive 200$ rod if not better. I will definitely buy this rod again and again. I recommend this rod as a gift to friends for their birthdays. Excellent rod for the price... May 19, 2009
Best $30.00 ever!!! I got my new Sea Lion in the mail 3 days before going to Mexico for Rock Cod. This pole is so very strong and responsive that I ended up using it the whole weekend and I brought 2 other way more expensive rods. For $30.00 I really got my moneys worth and would definetely recommend it for any angler. May 10, 2010
