the reel is very good but reel seat of the rod is very deficient, the plastic is broken with much facility. .la construction of reel seat is very poor in quality.

You should be fine for mahi and king, but wahoo are fast and will burn all the line off that reel with no problem. Better off with a conventional like a shimano tld 25 for the wahoosAnswers
