Unfortunately, I purchased 6 of these reel covers. They are well made, however do not allow for proper fitting to reel when reel is mounted on rod whether the rod is strung with line through rod guides or not. Actually, the reel covers do not cover reels properly as do other reel cover products. I have been fishing big game for 30 years, use quite a few "Offshore Angler" products, however this is not one I would recommend.
