The sabiki caught baitfish for me, which is what it's designed to do. My only complaint is that a few of the hook and lines got pulled off. I don't know if that is what they are designed to do, but after a few hours of fishing, I went from 6 hooks down to 3 and finished with 2. I encountered one snag, but other times I imagine fish were able to yank the line off. So I didn't get to reuse this product. Not alot of bang for my buck this time around.

This is my favorite size and color for herring. The red seems to be the color that always produces, and I've tried them all. Get the bait quick and start catching some Stripers. I use 1/2 oz weight have caught as many as 4 herring at one time. Drop down a little lower than the school and jig slowly to the surface. Once one hits jig a couple of more times without reeling they get very aggressive with a fish hooked. Try and get 3 or 4 at one time.

I now this is apost to be saltwater rig but in NC we use them to catch herring and white perch at the swift water . We caught 300 white perch in two trips stock up cause youll get hung in the roks they work best with a three quarter ounce weight good luck

I bought this rig while i was on a fishing trip in florida. On the second day i just learned of them so i gave it a try, and almost instanly i had a fish!. I was extremely amazed. Everyday i bought at least 2 and caught a verage of 75 fish day on them...My variety was also very impressive. I caught monster pinfish, grey snapper, mutton snapper, trouts and many more. I would recomend size 4 or 6 hooks and dosent matter the rig. They ctch fish!! and i caught 510 fish in 8 days, im only 14....ya.
