I recently bought, on line, 3 wire line trolling rods. The rod purchase was done in a very professional manner and were shipped the next day. I received them on time with no damage to the product. On line was the way to go for me because they only had 2 in stock at the store. Don't know why they only stock 2. Would recommend on line ordering. They do what they say.

I got a few of these rods when they were on sale last year. I use them for trolling my Penn 49 reels with wire line. They work very well with the AFTCO roller guides and never a problem. I also like the foregrip with the triangilar grip as it makes holding on a little easier. Only wish that they were a little longer, 6' or 6" and a half feet long but I can live with them being 5'6".

I use these rods with my Penn 330 reels. I bought them as a package and I am very pleased with the results. It is sometimes a little more rod then I need for rockfish, but who knows maybe I will hook a big one and really put it to the test.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by Beard Great travel standup
I bought this rod to use as a pitch and a live bait rod. It also seconds as a trolling rod. Matched up with a Okuma TG 50 two speed reel and 550 yds of mono there isn't much you can't get done.
Don't let the size and the flexibility fool you. This rod can handle everthing from big Wahoo, Dorado and even a good sized Stripped Marlin with litlle effort. The size is great for standup and also makes a good rod for the ladies in a chair. The mates on the boats loved the way it cast bait and could not believe how sensitive the tip was.
The length makes this rod great for airline transport since it falls under max length limits so there are no extra luggage charges and for the price you can't do better if you are fishing on a budget.
This rod will always go with me to Cabo and any other place I go looking for big fish.
