I use these with large live bait and have had good results on large catfish and they don't have to be turned just right like circle hooks.

AFTER LANDING 3 PORGYS IN A HALF HOUR THESE RED HOOKS LOSS THE RED COLOR. THESE HOOKS ARE JUST PAINTED, AND NOT VERY WELL, RED.

I wont recommend this hook for salt water. Very poorly made. its nothing compared to VMC or Other hooks. I don't know how they sharpen this hook. Looks like my grandma's needle. Whats worse. Its actually undersize. compare the 7/0 hooks to other 7/0
