I have been using these mini sleeves to make all my leaders for a long time all around South Florida. Changing from copper to brass was a good move by Offshore Angler (Bass Pro Shops), no corrosion. There's one other good move that could be made--smaller sleeves. The current offering of .8mm provides for 60 lb mono. I like to use fluorocarbon leader from 30 to 50 lb. The advantage of fluorocarbon is its invisibility. Smaller sleeves would provide less visibility and less area to snag on grass or cover. How about it Bass Pro Shops--OFFER SMALLER SLEEVES!

The double barrel crimps work great for rigging mono for spearfishing. ave not had any failures, and they do not seem to corrode much at all.

these work great. i use heavy mono for blue cats and knots can be a problem. not anymore with these crimp sleeves. slide on and pop with the crimper and your ready to fight the big boys. i caught a 59 lb my first trip out with them and they performed flawlessly.
