Rated 4 out of 5 by Model Airplanes I use this product to rig International Class F1 C model airplanes. the sleeves are just the right size and are easily crimped to provide the proper stab and rudder positions as well as the engine flood off line. June 25, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Need smaller Mini Double Sleeves! I have been using these mini sleeves to make all my leaders for a long time all around South Florida. Changing from copper to brass was a good move by Offshore Angler (Bass Pro Shops), no corrosion. There's one other good move that could be made--smaller sleeves. The current offering of .8mm provides for 60 lb mono. I like to use fluorocarbon leader from 30 to 50 lb. The advantage of fluorocarbon is its invisibility. Smaller sleeves would provide less visibility and less area to snag on grass or cover. How about it Bass Pro Shops--OFFER SMALLER SLEEVES! June 21, 2011

A:
I surf fish regularly with 17lb line. I attach the 17lb to a 50lb shock leader and then attach that to a 100lb bite leader via a swivel. The swivel is crimped on one end of the 100 lb bit leader that I snell to the hook.
