I removed the screw to disassemble the latch to get it ready for install. When I took the screw out, the tumbler fell out, the pins went everywhere and all the springs fell out. Took it back to the marine store and had the gentleman there show me how to use it. He did the same thing haha. This thing is a piece of junk!

This locking lift ring was just what I needed to replace one on a deck hatch for my 2000 Scout Sportfish. Quick and easy replacement.

Very Flimsy product, The core falls out of the lock as soon as you take the nut off. during the installation my leg barley bumped against one of the keys that I had in the lock and snapped the key clean off. I removed all three locks from my boat and will be returning them. This is by far the worst product I ever bought from BPS.
