Saltwater lure design has taken a gigantic leap forward with the introduction of Offshore Angler™'s series of hardbaits. The first element to meet the eye is the stunning state-of-the-art lurecraft. Built around familiar and effective body shapes and actions and are inspired directly by nature. Pre-tuned for saltwater casting or moderate trolling, and feature incredibly sculpted detail, lifelike prismatic eyes, and ultra-sharp corrosion-resistant hooks. The second element setting these lures apart is the use of highly realistic colors. Along with traditional saltwater colors, such as mackerel, anglers can choose from a range of other forage fish patterns—pinfish, mullet, pilchard, sardine, croaker, goggle eye, and more. The third element is affordability. Nobody will feel guilty about cleaning out the tackle box. Fishing is gonna be great!

by jason55 AWSOME POPPER!
I bought 2 of these poppers as last resorts, and i found out they work awsome! They have great action, and color choices, and they have caught me my first evor large keeper size striper! They cast out very far, and look very real!, definetly recommend them!

I live on a caribbean Island and use this lure to catch jacks. I have used a range of poppers but this one is the best. Although quite big this lure attracks Jacks from only 7 inches in size to Jacks that are so big they just spool my 20Lb line like nothing.
Although, no doubt every one would like to fight with a big Jack, it is just facinating to see how Juvenile Jacks barely bigger then this lure just slam it.

this version of the classic pencil popper is very effective when properly worked. It is most effective when not worked like a traditional popper. North East surfcasters have learned to grab the rod and the line about 1/3 of the way up on the surf rod an shake the rod while SLOWLY reeling the line. This causes a side to side splashing of the lure that drives Bass ans Blues crazy. This lure was part of one of my best days of fishing last October on a North Shore Long Island beach. I hooked 15 Blues from 35 to 42 inches long in 2 hrs. I managed to land 8. There was no sign of the fish in the water, and i tried almost every lure in my bag. The plug they responded to was the pencil popper. I think the side to side splashing motion "feels" more like a crippled fish to the game fish in the water. The finish of these lures are tough enough to stand up to repeated assualts by big blue fish.
