Saltwater lure design has taken a gigantic leap forward with the introduction of Offshore Angler™'s series of hardbaits. The first element to meet the eye is the stunning state-of-the-art lurecraft. Built around familiar and effective body shapes and actions and are inspired directly by nature. Pre-tuned for saltwater casting or moderate trolling, and feature incredibly sculpted detail, lifelike prismatic eyes, and ultra-sharp corrosion-resistant hooks. The second element setting these lures apart is the use of highly realistic colors. Along with traditional saltwater colors, such as mackerel, anglers can choose from a range of other forage fish patterns—pinfish, mullet, pilchard, sardine, croaker, goggle eye, and more. The third element is affordability. Nobody will feel guilty about cleaning out the tackle box. Fishing is gonna be great!

Rated 5 out of 5 by striper magnet Great lure with awesome action. Caught several stripers between 26 --36 inches from the beach last weekend. Recently purchased 5 of the bunker color. I hope other colors are available soon before the blues show up . The blues are all over these lures even when they are not on the feed. June 8, 2010
Rated 5 out of 5 by Very Good Lure This lure is fantastic ! ! ! It casts very long....makes a very nice noise if you cast right....goes very long and way past where the fishes will strike (gives you time to get comfortable and settled). Not hard to work..will work almost any way......as long as you don't go crazy with it....the movement is great. Just find your lure after casting...look and focus on it and work it....don't over do it. Don't cast up in the air but more of like a bullet. I caught stripers in 3rd week of April way before the OFFICIAL arrival of the Stripers begins. The little ones go after this big lure....believe me it is wild but they do (i think the lure is 3x bigger then their mouth, but they go after it). Great lure for the price (one of the best) and it works period.....on stripers....it did for me.....Just relax....find the lure after casting...focus on it and bring that bad boy in....and you will see the white belly and the tail of the striper come up and smack this lure...just find the lure after casting and you will find the stripers you are looking for. Rated 3 out of 5 by Bad quality Paint already chipped and havent even put it in the water....great striper lure! March 25, 2010
Rated 2 out of 5 by Not a very robust lure I love using pencil poppers in June for night striper fishing. I purchased one of these lures as a back up for a wooden Gibbs that I frequently use. After one night, the eyes are gone, and most of the paint has chipped off, giving the lure a solid grey appearance. Affordable, yes, but in this instance, you do get what you pay for. I would spend an extra dollar or two and purchase an Atom pencil popper. June 20, 2009

I think they are a number 2, but they are very weak. If you intend to catch anything big, you better plan to put stronger hooks on it

Even if it isn't, it is still worth the buy. I have caught 20+ barracudas on it and it still looks brand-new
