good top water great for large top water! Changed out hooks as they were to small for size of lure and my loose some fish during fight. looks good and draws fish December 29, 2010
great value "Stubby" gets a lot of attention from trevallys. Hooks may be a little small. Casts well. Never had one break or malfunction in any way. Great lure for the money. October 8, 2010
stipersniper this lure is small, but pretty heavy, so you can give it the old "heave ho", and cast a mile. i replaced both hooks because they were small, and on the first (schoolie) striper they were crushed flat. i replaced them with one 4/0 treble in the rear of the bait, and it works great, caught me a few 25 pound stripers and decent sized blues. lure very good lure, however, hooks must be replaced cannot withstand aggressive bluefish May 31, 2010

not sure what size exactly, but they're about the size of the hooks you'd find on a large crankbait for largemouth.
