Offshore Angler® Lazer Eye™ Saltwater Series:
The first element to meet the eye is the stunning state-of-the-art lurecraft. Some models are built around familiar and effective body shapes and actions; others are inspired directly by nature. All are pre-tuned for saltwater casting or moderate trolling, and all feature incredibly sculpted detail, lifelike prismatic eyes, and ultra-sharp corrosion-resistant hooks. The second element setting these lures apart is the use of highly realistic colors. Along with traditional saltwater colors such as mackerel, anglers can choose from a range of other forage fish patterns -- pinfish, mullet, pilchard, sardine, croaker, goggle eye, and more. The third element is affordability -- nobody will feel guilty about cleaning out the tackle box. Fishing is gonna be great!
The Down Under incorporates a metal lip, solid through-wire construction, Mustad® hooks, extra-loud rattles, and attention-grabbing Lazer Eyes. Trolls great from a flatline or downrigger. 9" models have double hooks.

Poorly Made Junk
Lure will not dive, tried tuning with no success. Paint coloring is great, but if it won't stay in the water what good is that.? Appears quality control is lacking. The lip on the lure was installed incorrectly. I bought 3 of these of which only 1 runs right. The metal lip was installed with a noticable angle. The one that runs correctly is straight. Don't waste your money buy a Rapala.

Great to troll close to the boat at slow speeds. Baracuddas love 'em!

I cannot agree with other reviewers
I purchased several of these lures in the 5 3/8 and the 7 3/4 sizes. The smaller ones are a complete waste of money. The will NOT stay in the water at any sort of reasonable trolling speed. And believe me that I know how to "tune" trolling lures. The larger ones swim pretty well at trolling speeds, actually as well as the Rapala CDs. But now that they have increased in price to about as much as the Rapalas, I see no sense in buying them at all. The quality of construction does not compare favorably to the odom wood Rapalas.

As loyal as I am to BPS I have to say if you're looking for above average speed try the new Bomber Saltwater Series. The Lazer Eyes get "squirley" above 3.5 to 4.0. If you mean 1-3 mph being fast enough then by all means use the Lazers...I still have several in my tackle box and use them regularly.
