Rated 4 out of 5 by 2 reviewers.
Rated 3 out of 5 by very light in weight, too light in action When I purchased this rod online, sight unseen, I assumed that a rod designed for inshore saltwater conditions would have some serious backbone in the medium heavy rating. When this rod arrived I tested the flex and was disappointed with its lack of stiffness in the midsection and slower taper. I do like a rod with a soft tip but this rod would not stand up to a trophy sized snook, redfish, or striper very well. This rod is more like a medium heavy bass rod than a true saltwater rod. I certainly won't be using this rod to wrestle big game fish around cover. With its lack of pulling power and high modulus blank i assume the result would be a shattered rod on 30lb braid or not enough rigidity to pull a fish out of cover, such as mangroves. This rod is now with my bass fishing arsenal and tosses texas rigged soft plastics with lighter weight bullet weights (3/16 - 1/4) with relative ease. Nice rod, not for what it is labelled as though. Pros: light in weight and very sensitive. A high modulus graphite blank and premium components. The cork is pretty large in circumference and is comfortable for all day fishing. Cons: too lightweight for larger sized saltwater inshore species, especially big snook in heavy cover October 6, 2011
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Light Rod Great choice for light salt water fishing, works great with 10lb braided line. Good action with jig heads for fluke July 13, 2010

I can only tell you with certainty that the medium heavy casting rod with handle b for $99.99 is a 7ft rod.

The casting rod for 109.99 is probably a 7ft 6" model.

It is pretty ridiculous that Bassproshops did not provide the lengths. I know the spinning rods used to come in one piece or two piece models. As far as I know they only come in 7ft and 7ft 6" models.

I'm sorry but that is as much assistance as I can provide. I would call them and ask based on price and model #.
